Medical student represents ITPAC Porto in medical conference in the United States.

Guilherme Assunção Godinho, a medicine student, participated in DOCInvest US on August 29 and 30, 2019, which brought together participants from Latin America, the Iberian Peninsula and the United States in two days of lectures, debates and workshops. The event welcomed an audience of 200 guests, including presidents, CEOs, directors, executives, entrepreneurs, managers and entrepreneurs looking to create or expand businesses. The event is a MEDSTATION achievement, in partnership with FS Strategy. Topics such as internationalization process, medical residency, telemedicine as well as working professionally in the US were covered. The event took place at the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort hotel in Florida USA.

In addition to the lectures, the student also had the opportunity to visit the Cleveland Clinic in Florida, being a hospital that houses around 250 of the world's leading physicians and specialists, representing 56 specialties and subspecialties for a variety of medical conditions. Cleveland is notable for its excellence in service, being awarded first place as the best hospital in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metropolitan area, as well as being named one of Florida's best hospitals by US News & World Report. According to the student: “Despite the differences in the brazilian and american health systems, it is possible that the technological and organizational aspects can be implemented in brazilian hospitals to improve them, so the event is paramount for us to perform a excellent medical service.”
